Love is a Battlefield

Imagine
I’ll have to go back to the battlefield and bury deep down all my flags, Wrap everything that is left in black plastic bags. I’ve challenged you to a war, but it was not a fair fight, For I am a fire dragon and you, my love, were unarmed.

Gravity

Imagine
Just like an apple Falls on the ground from the tree Due to gravity, I wish you'd anchor Your boat to my lighthouse For as long as I live.

The Harbour

Imagine
There's a narrow path on the ground that leads to the island, Sea to the left, sea to the right, Another boat awaits now for you in the harbour, Unknotting all hopes, my pirate ship will sail away by midnight.

Sailing amid Dolphins

Imagine
Sailing at high speed on the sea Fills your lungs with the illusion of freedom But I've surrendered when your hands touched me And I've let you cross the bridge to my kingdom. You can swim with the dolphins or plunge from a cliff, But when you're looking both sides and you see nothing but blue, You realise that maybe we don't choose who we fall in love with, Instead that is something that chooses you. Koronisia Island, Ambracian Gulf, Greece

The Obolus

Imagine
You won't notice when I'm gone, I promise you, babe, you will feel no pain, You will forget all the things we have done, And you will not even remember my name. But if one day you will come to the mouth of the Acheron River, You'll be told the legend of the obolus that was Charon's price,  You'll notice a letter on the coin made of silver, And you'll recall a signature on a notebook and the marks on a dice. Drawing by Alexandra Prusac, 12 y.o.

The Styx

Imagine
The legend of Charon's boat crossing the river is not just a myth, It teaches us that there's a price for each good, You've asked me what "more" means to me and I looked at the Styx, And I couldn't tell you the truth, you wouldn't have understood. Because there are things that our minds cannot reach, No matter how bright, Things that cannot be written in letters, nor said in a speech, They must be felt with the heart.

From Light Green to Dark Blue

Imagine
When the waves hit the rocks of the pier And lies shatter under the power of truth, Fantasies fade to black, reality appears crystal clear, And the river waters turn from light green to dark blue.

At the beach

Imagine
This is my corner of the beach Where I lay alone in the sun all day, The top of your tower was maybe too high for me to reach, And when you came downtown and entered my gates, you didn't stay.

Egnatia Odos

Imagine
Far from home, there's a highway that drills through the mountains At the end of which all my towers have crumbled into the sea. I've hidden my tears and had all my pawns retreat to the fountains, Years have gone by and you're still not talking to me.
